News: Visa exemptions to Vietnam extended for citizens of five European countries

As of May 3rd, the Vietnamese government has decided to continue to allow visa exemptions for citizens of five European countries, namely the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. This will continue for the next three years, effective July 1, 2018 to July 1, 2021.

Under the policy, citizens from these five countries do not have to apply for a visa if their duration of stay will not exceed 15 days beyond their day of entry to Vietnam.

How to apply for vietnam e visa online

Foreign tourists coming to Vietnam can have e-visa.  The e-visa will be issued by the immigration authority via digital transactions for foreigners wanting to enter Vietnam. It can be used once and is valid for no longer than 30 days and single entry only.

This e-visa can be obtained on evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn. This is official website, confirmed by Vietnamese ministry of culture, sport and tourism.

You can visit Phu Quoc island in southern Vietnam without a Vietnam visa for up to 30 days for tourist purpose. Tourists must arrive and leave across an international border crossing. If you arrive at Phu Quoc island without a visa you can not continue travelling into Vietnam.
